  1. Today’s lunch is Pasta.

  2. Beginning Monday, there will be no more charging in the cafeteria. No exceptions.
            Please make sure your lunch account is paid.
  1. State Testing dates:  Tomorrow for Math.  Science for 8th grade is Tuesday, May 7.
            Make sure to bring your charged chromebook and charger.  During the testing period       students are not permitted to have communication devices in the testing room, this includes smart watches.  These will need to be placed in your locker during the testing period.
  1. Attention Jr. Honor Society members. We are in need of tutors. Please see Mr. Maleski to sign up.

  2. There will be a student council meeting in Mrs. Rowen's room today during 8th grade lunch. All members should attend.
 
  1. There is a sign-up sheet in the office for 8th grade boys who would like to play soccer next year.  There will also be a meeting on Thursday at 2:00pm with Coach Asher.  Please wait to be called down.

  2. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right-hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.
 
  1. If you win or do well at something, do not brag. If you lose, or do poorly at something do not show anger. To show anger or sarcasm, such as “I wasn’t playing hard,” or “you really aren’t that good,” shows weakness. McCormick Students always treat each other with respect. Remember if you do not have something nice to say then don’t say anything at all.
 
  1. McCormick students, when waiting in line to go to lunch, keep to the right so other students needing to get by are able to.  

  2. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.

  3. Stay in the Game - keep coming to school and make sure you are working hard to be the best me you can be.
