  1. Today’s lunch is Chicken.

  2. Beginning Monday, there will be no more charging in the cafeteria. No exceptions.

            Please make sure your lunch account is paid.

  1. State Testing dates:  Today for Math.  Science for 8th grade is Tuesday, May 7.
Make sure to bring your charged chromebook and charger.  During the testing period students are not permitted to have communication devices in the testing room, this includes smart watches.  These will need to be placed in your locker during the testing period.
Teachers take homeroom attendance.  Students report to your homeroom and then go to your testing area after the announcements.

  1. Attention Jr. Honor Society members. We are in need of tutors. Please see Mr. Maleski to sign up.

  2. There is a sign-up sheet in the office for 8th grade boys who would like to play soccer next year.  There will also be a meeting today for those who signed up at 2:00pm with Coach Asher.  Please wait to be called down.

 

  1. There will be a meeting at 2:00pm on Wednesday, May 8th, for 8th grade girls interested in golf next year.  Please wait to be called down.

  2. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right-hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.

  3. The McCormick Way - Positive Actions, Accepting K-C-R, Working to Succeed, and Stay Safe. Let’s make sure all our decisions and actions are centered around the McCormick Way.

 

  1. McCormick students never cut in line. This is happening a lot during lunch.  When your table is dismissed, stand, walk to the mural wall and turn to walk to the line.   Remain in line behind the person you are following.  

 

  1. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.

 

  1. Stay in the Game - keep coming to school and make sure you are working hard to be the best me you can be.
