'83 State Champion Girls Return
On February 2, 2008, the Ohio AA Girls' State Basketball Championship Team from 1983 returned to HHS for their 25th anniversary gathering. They celebrated with an afternoon meal at Jim's Pizza Box, returned for an exciting basketball game and half-time festivities that evening, then finished off their day at i 5's, the local watering hole. For a video summary of the day's events and shots of the ladies and their families now, please go to Don Hardy's site, http://www.hurontigers.com/gbball/1983/83team.htm where you can view all firsthand, including play-by-play calls by Mark Fogg from the final moments of the championship game. Happy Memories!
